Travel Hands

“Travel Hands is a convenient, inexpensive and safe service to match Visually Impaired People (VIP) and Volunteers in connecting and walking on journeys, together.” - Ishan, CEO of Travel Hands

Problem:
The start-up was struggling to gain visibility in the industry. As a new organisation in 2020 (during COVID 19 pandemic), they needed support in building a strong online presence, promoting their services to the public, attracting volunteers to assist visually impaired users and educate the public about the challenges that visually impaired people face during the COVID 19 pandemic.

My Contribution:

I joined their marketing team in 2020 and played a key role in developing creative strategies to boost their visibility. I actively contributed to content ideation and planning for their social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn.
Additionally, I designed branded merchandise to support their crowdfunding efforts and strengthen the overall brand image of the company on social media.

Merchandise, social media strategy and print

See Hope. Share Hope. Support Now.

I designed a postcard aligned with the theme of visual impairment, using the brand’s official colour palette to maintain consistency. The design is intentionally simple yet meaningful and featuring a prominent dark blue circle symbolising an eye, subtly conveying the focus on sight and accessibility.

Your Keyring Can Carry a Cause

I designed the image from scratch using Lunacy, carefully selecting colours and fonts that meet accessibility standards for visually impaired users. The design was reviewed, approved by the team, and used in their campaign.
